About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Tester to lead and execute performance testing strategies for our applications. You will work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and high-performing under varying loads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance test plans, test scripts, and test data for performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.
• Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or NeoLoad to conduct tests and analyze results.
• Identify system bottlenecks and work with engineering teams to resolve performance issues.
• Monitor system performance in test and production environments.
• Generate detailed performance test reports and recommendations.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior testers.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Proficient with tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar.
• Strong skills in monitoring and analysis tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, Splunk.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, web technologies, APIs, and databases.
• Experience with scripting languages like Java, Python, or Shell.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Nice to Have attributes

• Experience with cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of performance tuning for web and database servers.
• ISTQB Advanced Level – Performance Testing certification.
